Baptism
This pamphlet shows that baptism means immersion, and that this immersion is a symbolic burial of an old way of life. We see that belief comes before baptism, and that baptism is the beginning of a new life of faith and commitment. Through baptism, sins are washed away. Baptism associates us with Jesus, making us part of the body of Christ (church). And, it makes us heirs of the great promises God made to Abraham, promises that point to the hope of resurrection and eternal life.
Baptism is a first step of commitment on the road to eternal life. “Believe and be baptized” (Mark 16:16) says the voice of Jesus from the pages of the Bible. It is a voice worth heeding.
